View our steps on what to do after an accident

Step 1

* Contact your insurance company to file a claim. We can help you file your claim if you need.
* Please note although the insurance company will want you to use the repair shop of their choice, it is your right to use any shop of your choosing.
* Once the claim is started. The insurance company will either ask you to upload photos of the damage to a portal so they can write a preliminary estimate, or will have you bring your vehicle to a repair facility for them to take photos and write an estimate to submit for approval.

Step 2

* Once an approved preliminary estimate is issued from the insurance company you will be scheduled for drop off. Unless it was already towed in from the collision site. When you drop off all you will need to bring is the claim number for the incident, the keys to the vehicle and the initial payment issued by the insurance company.
* There will be a quick intake process which includes some paperwork, photos taken upon drop off, and a walk around to assess all accident related damage as well as preexisting damages not related to the claim.

Step 3

• Once your vehicle has been checked in the repair process begins with the disassembly of the damaged area to assess any additional damages that could lie underneath the damages visible from the surface. This is called blueprinting.
* Once the blueprint is complete a supplement is submitted to your insurance company with any additional parts or repairs needed that were not included on the approved preliminary estimate.
* The insurance company then reviews the supplement. They will then make any changes they deem necessary, depending on the coverage you have. They then send us back an approved supplement, and repairs proceed.

Step 4

* Your replacement parts are ordered, Once parts arrive they are inspected for quality, as well as mirror matched to assure that they are correct.
* At that point all structural, body and mechanical repairs if necessary are performed.
* After our technicians have completed the repairs and they have been inspected for quality your vehicle and replacement parts are sent over to the paint department.

Step 5

* Your vehicle and all replacement parts will be prepped and primed for paint.
*The paint used on repairs at our facility is PPG Envirobase, and is mixed to match your existing paint color here on site with state of the art technology that PPG requires of all its certified shops to be trained in.
* After your color is mixed and tinted a spray out will be performed to assure the best possible match has been attained. Your vehicle will then be painted according to paint manufacturer specifications
* Once paint is complete it is inspected for quality.

Step 6

* After you vehicle leaves the paint shop it comes back to the body shop for reassembly.
* Once your vehicle has been reassembled a final QC inspection is completed.
* Your vehicle is then detailed for delivery and we will call you to arrange pick up.
* At the time of pick up we will walk you through the repairs that were performed for a final approval from you. At that time you will pay your deductible and be on your way!
